A deeply nourishing yet light serum. Balsam fir resin is combined with Perilla oil infused with wildharvested trembling Aspen leaf and Rabbit Tobbaco leaf and flower. The resin content in this serum makes it feel a bit heavy when you first apply it, but the Perilla oil is very light and will absorb into your skin after several minutes. Ideal for the colder seasons in this hemisphere where exposure to cold and dry air can compromise skin’s protective barrier.
Balsam Fir resin is comprised of many terpenes, including alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, limonene, beta-phellandrene, myrcene, gerinol and citronellol to name a few. Its medicinal values come from this terpene content- Balsam fir resin is antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral.
