Nancy and Susie Kinyanjui are the sister-founder of provisions Kenya who are based in Nairobi and share a passion for natural and useful finds. 

Our lavender essential oil is made using a steam distillation process, with flowers from the Lavandula officinalis plant. Organically grown on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya, this fragrant herb makes for one of the most widely appreciated essential oils.

Wild Basil essential oil, made with a steam distillation from wild harvested Ocimum gratissimum leaves in Naro Moru, on the slopes of Mount Kenya.

This plant is well known for its application in traditional medicine, and has proven to have powerful antibacterial properties. It contains compounds that offer relief for aches and pains, and is incredibly healing when blended with a carrier oil such as cape chestnut for use as a massage oil. Wild basil has a spiced, peppery, aromatic scent profile which is lovely in a diffuser to create a warming and fragrant space.
